In India Kheer is very famous for all occasions. Among different varieties of Kheer / Pudding am sharing recipe of rice pudding . In the month of may i posted the recipe of sabudana kheer, rice kheer is also of similar recipe. The recipe is simple and tasty. I prefer to serve chilled as desert. Below is the recipe.
Ingredients :-
Rice - 1 cup
Milk - 1 litre
Sugar - 3 cooking spoon
Condensed milk - 1 cup
Cardamom powder - 1tbs
Dry fruits - to garnish
How to:-
- First heat the milk at low flame and add rice to it. Keep on stirring and let the rice cook in milk.
- Secondly add condensed milk and sugar as per taste and keep stirring. Kindly stir continously and see that rice is cooked properly.
- Add the cardamom powder to it and stir till it becomes a bit thick.
- Now crush gently the pudding with hand blender or in food processor so that the rice are bit broken.
- Garnish with dry fruits.
Tip - Please do not crush the pudding too much just a gentle crush is needed. One can serve it at room temperature or chilled. I prefer chilled.
